Syntior Community · How it works

Five levels. One clear path.

Every member of the community follows the same map, from learning the basics to leading projects. Levels describe skills and responsibilities, and give everyone a shared language for what comes next.

Developer Growth Levels

From Learner to Lead

Five stages, each with its own skills and responsibilities. Start where you are and work up as you build.

A map, not a promise. Levels describe the skills and responsibilities at each stage. They are not a guarantee of promotion, a role or payment.

How we work

Two principles behind every project

They shape which projects we take on and how contributors take part in them.

  • The Ownership Principle

Contributors own modules and features, not just tickets. Owning something means understanding why it exists, shaping how it works, shipping it, and looking after it afterwards.

  • The Project Selection Principle

Every project is chosen for two reasons: it teaches real skills, and it could become a product or a client solution. Nothing is built only as an exercise.

How it fits together

One path, four stages

We are not running a course, and we are not running a club. The community is how developers grow alongside Syntior, a working software company.

  1. The community is where people learn

Everyone begins by learning how professional teams work: version control, code review, testing and clear standards, with mentors who help along the way.

  2. Real projects are where they practise

Community members apply those skills to real projects and take ownership of modules and features, instead of working on isolated tickets.

  3. Products and client work are where it counts

Projects that prove their value become products or client solutions, built and maintained to production standards.

  4. The company grows with them

As members build experience and take on ownership, the company gains developers who know how we work, and technical leadership grows from within.

The growth model

How community work becomes company work

Each stage builds on the one before it. The community feeds the projects, the projects grow into products and client work, and that work brings in the revenue that sustains the company and the community.

  1. Community

Learning and mentorship. Developers pick up professional workflows together and land their first real contributions.

  2. Projects

Real projects, chosen because they teach real skills. Contributors own modules and features, not just tickets.

  3. Products / Clients

The strongest projects grow into products or client solutions, built and run to production standards.

  4. Revenue

Commercial work brings in revenue that sustains the projects and funds what comes next.

  5. Company

Syntior itself: a structured team that builds and runs the software, and grows with the developers who came up through the community.

A direction, not a promise. This is how the community and the company fit together, and where we want to take them. Each stage depends on the projects we take on and the people who build them, so we do not promise specific outcomes, timelines, jobs, payment or equity.
